Overseas Visitors

Overseas visitors are entitled to free emergency and immediate necessary treatment for up to 14 days. The GP will assess if any treatment required is immediately necessary. Overseas visitors may be charged for routine treatment or hospital treatment.

Please visit The NHS Website for more information.

Temporary Residents

If you are not registered with a doctor but need to see one, you can receive emergency treatment for 14 days. After 14 days you will need to register as a temporary or permanent patient.

To register as a temporary resident you will need to complete a GMS3 form which can be obtained at the practice. Please return the completed form to the surgery.
You can register as a temporary resident with a GP in England if you are in the area for longer than 24 hours but less than three months.
